Driving Sustainability Through Action

Driving Sustainability Through Action
We at Gazzaoui Lebanon are honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from Association L’Ecoute, a Lebanese non-governmental organization that empowers individuals with disabilities, in recognition of our contribution to the project “Together for the Recycling of Human Energy” during 2024–2025 — a partnership that transforms environmental responsibility into human impact.

As part of this initiative, we regularly contribute sorted waste materials, including paper, cardboard, and e-waste, collected from our offices and facilities. These materials were delivered to L’Ecoute, which transforms waste into resources that directly fund social and educational programs for people with disabilities.

Through this collaboration, we are not only helping to protect the environment but also standing alongside individuals who are hearing-impaired, visually impaired, or have reduced mobility. This initiative reflects our belief that sustainability is most powerful when it unites ecological care with human compassion.

Founded in 1999, L’Ecoute has long been a pioneer in bridging environmental action with social empowerment. Its recycling programs serve a dual mission, safeguarding the ecosystem while financing projects that promote the integration of people with disabilities into society and the workplace. By joining hands with L’Ecoute, we are proud to contribute to a model that gives waste a second life and people new opportunities.

This partnership reinforces our ongoing commitment to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13: Climate Action. Through every initiative we take, we aim to embed sustainability, inclusivity, and shared responsibility into the heart of our business.

Together, we are turning awareness into action — caring for our planet while empowering lives.
Because for us, sustainability isn’t just about recycling materials — it’s about recycling hope, inclusion, and human energy. 🌿
