Projects Sales Manager - Electrical Sales Unit

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Manage Gazzaoui’s Electrical Projects Sales Business Unit and ensure sales targets achievements while emphasizing on risk/reward trade off (in relation with sales and collections).
  • To follow on new profitable projects in line with Gazzaoui’s established strategy for growth and risk policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Relations Management 

  • In all interactions with third parties and existing or potential customers, promotes the image of the company by demonstrating professionalism, reliability and technical knowledgeableness, and upholds the high standards of the company.
  • Maintain regular contacts with customers and keep up to date with ongoing projects and sales opportunities.
  • Ensure sales engineers of his unit are maintaining and developing good relations with customers, take appropriate measures to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Devise and implement action plan aimed at extending projects’ customer base, and increasing sales profitability within the commercial strategy and risk policies set by the company.

 Target Setting & Achievement 

  • Sets sales targets by product by family for his sales team.
  • Ensure sales targets are met.
  • Review with sales team their sales targets on a quarterly basis, determine and explain variations.
  • Monitor clients’ credit limits.

 Market Feedback & Reporting 

  • Monitor Gazzaoui’s performance and market positioning.
  • Provide market feedback regarding customer needs, customer satisfaction, pricing and competition.
  • Provide regular activity report.

Unit Management
  • Manage the unit overall activities.
  • Assist the General Manager in setting the unit’s yearly plan and budget.
  • Lead, motivate and provide support to the team.
  • Monitor team members’ performance and take appropriate steps to maintain and improve.
  • Coach and train staff members.
  • Coordinate and ensure effective communication between his unit and other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Electrical Engineering University Degree. MBA is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

At least 7-10 years of experience in sales/commercial activity preferably related to the construction sector, out of which a minimum of 4 years in a management position
